The President stated, "The Popular Administration has tried to create hope in practice and the enemy has understood this very well, and on the other hand, it has tried to slow down and even stop this process, but they have not been successful given the support of the people, the efforts of the government and most importantly, the guidance of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution".
In a meeting with a group of clerics, Friday prayer imams of South Khorasan province on Wednesday evening during his trip to the province, Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi described clerics as the leaders of seeking justice and fighting oppression and said, "Clerics have faced many hardships and problems in this direction, but the secret of the fact that they are still in the hearts of the people is that they were not afraid of problems and were ready to take risks".
Emphasising that even today clerics have a heavy responsibility in carrying out their missions, the President added, "Religious gatherings and mosques are one of the largest social networks in our country where clerics play an important and effective role in promoting social reform and creating transformation".
Dr Raisi stated that during the period of establishment, consolidation and development of the Islamic Republic, the enemies made a lot of efforts to prevent the progress of the goals of this holy system, adding, "When the enemies saw that despite all their obstructions, the Islamic Republic has become a role model for other nations and has turned pressures into opportunities and is making progress in different fields".
Emphasising that today we can boldly call the Islamic Republic a technological and advanced country, the President stated, "The country is also progressing rapidly in the economic, social and cultural fields".
Dr Raisi noted, "Today's war is a war of wills and the enemy seeks to impose its will on us by creating perceptions in the media field, but the Iranian nation will be the definitive winner in this field as it has been victorious against the many conspiracies of the enemy so far".
The President stated that by trusting in God, self-confidence and relying on the country's assets, we are moving in the direction of strengthening faith and creating hope, and said, "According to the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, we are close to conquering the peaks and no one is allowed to be tired and disappointed".
Dr Raisi emphasised, "We proved to the enemy that we can overcome the problems and manage the country and we will do it again. The important point in this direction is that before any action to reform and create transformation, we must have hope and faith in the possibility of reform and transformation so that we can inject hope into the society and strengthen faiths".
