The President described the unity and cohesion of different nations, religions and dialects around the name of Hussein (PBUH) as a manifestation of Islamic unity and promising for the era of the emergence of Imam Mahdi and the formation of a civilisation based on religion and divine values, and stated, "Arba'een is our root, identity, goal and end, which has an effective role in the formation of civility and Islamic civilisation".
Speaking in the passionate gathering of the people of Darmian during his trip to South Khorasan province on Wednesday noon, at the same time as Imam Hussein's Arba'een, Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi expressed condolences for the days of mourning for the martyrs of H.H. Aba Abdullah Al-Hussein (AS), describing Arba'een as one of the most beautiful human manifestations and said, "Arba'een is a symbol and a manifestation so that humanity can always see Ashura before them and know that what they need to know is the path of truth from falsehood, justice from oppression, and humanity from cruelty and crime".
Dr Raisi added, "If it wasn't for the uprising of Imam Hussein (PBUH), only a shell of religion would have remained, and Ashura is the secret of religion's survival".
The President described the Islamic Revolution of the Iranian nation as a manifestation of Imam Hussein's Ashura, saying, "What has brought us together here today is the belief in religion and the blessing of the name of Hussein Ibn Ali (PBUH), which is the manifestation of our unity and cohesion. The common point of all of us Sunnis and Shiites is the love for Ahl al-Bayt (AS) who taught us how to live and how to die".

Dr Raisi said, "Foreign media and the enemy's news empire are trying to censor this huge public manifestation, but is it possible to deny this right and consider this idealism to be nothing? Enemies throughout history tried to remove the love of Imam Hussein (AS) by applying pressure and even committing crimes, but it is God who willed Hussein (AS) to penetrate the hearts and minds".
Referring to the words of Martyr Soleimani, "We are the nation of Imam Hussein", the President added, "Today, the strength and security of the Islamic Republic of Iran is thanks to the blood of the martyrs who set Imam Hussein (AS) as their role model".
In another part of his speech, Dr Raisi stated that a lot of work has been done in Islamic Iran, including South Khorasan, and that this province cannot be compared to before, he said, "Today, based on the remarks of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, the first duty of all of us is to strengthen faith and hope in our hearts to do the remaining work with strength and power".
The President considered the art of the great nation of Iran to be the transformation of sanctions and threats into opportunities and clarified, "No one has the right to allow fatigue and despair in this path".
Dr Raisi pointed out that good steps have been taken to resolve the water stress in different parts of South Khorasan province, as well as complete gas supply to the urban and rural parts of this province, and noted, "Good measures have also been taken in the field of building housing for the youth and the needy in this province".
In the next part of his speech, the President praised the exemplary unity and cohesion of Sunnis and Shiites in South Khorasan province and especially in the border region.
