The President said, "As to effective countries in the region, Iran and India can develop their cooperation to a new level to have an impact on the developments caused by the establishment of the new world order".
Speaking in a meeting with Indian National Security Adviser Ajit Doval on Monday afternoon, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi referred to the long history of friendly relations between the two countries, and said, "Today, the leaders of Iran and India also want to expand relations, especially in the economic and commercial fields, and this was emphasised in the meeting between me and Mr Narendra Modi in Samarkand.
Pointing out that the conditions of the world are changing and a new world order is being formed, the President added, "In the heart of the changes taking place in the world, regional and international organisations, especially the Shanghai and BRICS organisations, due to their power and resources, can be very effective".

Ajit Doval, the National Security Adviser of India, also stated in this meeting that big changes are happening in the world and the emerging technologies have connected the economies of countries more than ever, and said, "India believes that in order to have a positive effect on these changes, it requires deepening and expanding relations with our neighbours, especially Iran".
