Appreciating the efforts, compassion and creativity of the workers in production, Dr Raisi considered the achievements of MAPNA Industrial Group to be a source of pride for the country and to increase the strength of the country.

Speaking on Monday at the closing ceremony of the 34th National Festival of Appreciating Elite Workers, Working Groups and Top Units held at MAPNA Industrial Company, while honouring "Worker's Day" and appreciating the role of workers in prosperity of production of the country Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi said, "The efforts, compassion and creativity of the workers in production and their very valuable achievements in various production sectors are an honour for the country, which should increase day by day".
Referring to his visit to the MAPNA Group's technological achievements exhibition, the President said, "Seeing the products and achievements of this company is very honourable and a source of pride for the country and a combination of accuracy, effort, creativity and science and technology that produces and enhances the power of the country".
Dr Raisi stated that MAPNA Company has provided basic scientific work in the country by adding knowledge to ability, and added, "The production chains related to this company should all be activated so that its products are not delayed or incomplete".
Ayatollah Raisi further pointed to the design and production of the drive system of electric vehicles including buses, passenger cars and cargo in MAPNA Company and the country's urgent need for this product to reduce the problem of air pollution, emphasised on speeding up the review and issuance of the necessary approvals by the standards organisation.
Regarding the demands raised by the representatives of the labour organisations in this ceremony, the President mentioned the issue of job security, especially multi-month contracts, as one of the important concerns of the labour community, and tasked the minister of labour with a detailed examination of the issue of labour contracts to make the necessary arrangements in this regard.
The President continued to list the provision of housing as one of the other needs of the working community and said, "What we promised about housing was based on the country's needs and legal requirements, and if one million housing units were built in the past years, the current state of the housing market would not be like this".
Dr Raisi also said about solving the need for housing in the labour sector, "Production units should make the necessary preparations by forming housing cooperatives, and the relevant departments in the government should try to provide land and provide the necessary facilities for building housing".
Ayatollah Raisi also clarified about the problems of retirees, "If the issues and problems of retired labourers are defined along with the employees of this group, the ground will be readier to solving these problems".
Referring to the issue of contracting companies and workers' dissatisfaction with some mechanisms related to these companies, the President obliged the Minister of Labour to put the organisation of the mechanism of contracting companies on the agenda.
Referring to the announcement of the readiness of a representative of one of the labour organisations to attract foreign investors, the President said, "The government pursues both domestic investment using the capacity of large companies, banks and the private sector".
In another part of his speech at this ceremony, Ayatollah Raisi considered the flow of brokers in the country to be very harmful for producers and consumers and suggested to all producers and suppliers of people's goods as well as regulatory institutions to monitor the chain of production to consumption so that dealers are not given ground to disrupt the process of meeting people's needs.
The President also referred to the statements of the Supreme Leader of the Revolution in his meeting with the workers and obliged the Ministry of Labour to implement the orders of the leader to solve the problems of the labour community.
