Pointing out that today, parallel to the progress of the country, hostilities have also increased and the latest example is the attempt to create an atmosphere of insecurity in schools and worry among families, the President said, "Those who have targeted the mental security of the society under this pretext are not concerned about the health of the students and their families, but their goal is to create chaos in the country under any pretext".
Speaking on Friday evening during the two-day visit to Bushehr province, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi had a meeting with Shia and Sunni clerics of the province, and said, "Clerics play an effective role in the advancement of society by educating and training talented people in mosques, schools, and universities, as well as trying to establish social justice in all fields".
The President listed learning and supporting and explaining revolutionary values as two characteristics of the revolutionary field and said about the characteristics of a political seminary student, "A political seminary student is someone who knows the needs of society and is ready to play a role in solving them".
Ayatollah Raisi continued, "Today, our students and clerics have a heavy duty in the practice of supporting the Islamic Republic".
Dr Raisi added, "Seminaries are both the foundation of the holy system of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and they must support the principle of this system and be leaders in training talented human resources and providing solutions for reforming the political, economic and social affairs of the society".
The President went on to say that with exemplary cohesion and unity between Shia and Sunni clerics of the province, many things can be done in the implementation of justice and cultural and social issues, adding, "The government also has duties in this field that it will try to fulfil them in the best way possible".
Emphasising the necessity of solving the employment problem by prioritising the employment of indigenous and revolutionary forces, solving the problem of pollutants in the province by using the capacity of knowledge-based companies, organising the trade of sailors by maintaining and complying with export and import regulations, and solving the housing problem of different classes of people by activating or forming housing cooperatives were among the other points that Dr Raisi mentioned in the meeting with Shia and Sunni clerics of Bushehr province.
