The President gave the economic team of the government a mission to use the opinions of experts and representatives, benefit from the cooperation of other sectors and considering the importance and dimensions of the issue, to do all they can to implement foreign exchange policies in order to stabilise the market and resolve concerns in this regard.

Speaking in the meeting of the cabinet on Sunday evening, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi referred to the combined war of the enemy against the Iranian nation, and stated, "Combined war has various aspects, of which psychological warfare and apprehension of the public mind is one of its dimensions, and when the enemy failed to achieve their goals through riots, it decided to follow destabilising the market".
Calling the enemy's attack against the Iranian nation unprecedented, the President said, "The economic war is one of the dimensions of the enemy's combined war, which has targeted the lives and livelihoods of the people by creating instability in the market".
Dr Raisi emphasised the need to design countermeasures in accordance with the enemy's combined war and stated, "The government considers itself obliged to protect the peace and security of the people, especially their economic security, in the front line of countering the enemy's plots".
In this regard, the President gave the economic team of the government a mission to use the opinions of experts and representatives, benefit from the cooperation of other sectors and considering the importance and dimensions of the issue, to do all they can to implement foreign exchange policies in order to stabilise the market and resolve concerns in this regard.
Dr Raisi also referred to the reports about the accumulation of basic goods in the ports, and assigned his chief of staff and the minister of agriculture to carefully investigate the issue and follow up on the necessary measures to speed up the clearance of these goods.
