In a message of condolence on the passing of the pious cleric and prominent figure of Islamic ethics and philosophy, Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Saadat Mostafavi, Ayatollah Dr Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi stated, "This outstanding professor and lasting scientific figure spent his blessed life in promoting and expanding religious sciences and Imam Ali's culture, and by teaching and educating students and by effectively participating in scientific and missionary activities, played a valuable role in enriching culture and reviving religious thought".

The demise of Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Saadat Mostafavi, a pious scholar and a prominent figure of Islamic ethics and philosophy, caused great grief and sorrow.
This outstanding professor and lasting scientific figure spent his blessed life in promoting and expanding religious sciences and Imam Ali's culture, and by teaching and educating students and by effectively participating in scientific and missionary activities, played a valuable role in enriching culture and reviving religious thought.
I offer my condolences for this loss to the seminaries and scientific centres of the country, students, followers and especially the deceased's family, and I pray to God for him.
