At Sunday's meeting of the cabinet chaired by President Hassan Rouhani, the Ministry of Energy presented a report to the cabinet on the state of the country's electricity supply this summer and the plans and measures needed to overcome the 1400 peak electricity consumption.
According to the report of the Ministry of Energy, considering the increase of one million new electricity subscribers and the increase of consumption of new industries in 1399, the consumption needs are well covered.
Some other issues regarding the emergency services in East Azerbaijan and Lorestan provinces, as well as free zones were also discussed in the cabinet.
