After a meeting of heads of the 3 branches;

President: The 3 branches' coordination always important for development/All branches join hands in making the best use of the post-JCPOA atmosphere

The session of the heads of the three branches was held preceding the 37th anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.

President Dr Hassan Rouhani, Head of Judiciary Ayatollah Sadeq Amoli Larijani, and the Speaker of Majlis Ali Larijani met on Sunday, hosted by the President and discussed the most important issues of the country.

After the session, the President told reporters: “In this session, the heads of branches discussed the important issues of the country, and this is important and helpful for coordination among the three branches, leading to the development of the country”.

Dr Rouhani also congratulated the 12th of Bahman, the day Late Imam Khomeini (RA) entered Iran and said: “All of what we have, are due to the Islamic Revolution, the Ten-Day Fajr event, and endeavours by the Iranian nation, led by Imam Khomeini (RA), which brought us in Dignity, freedom, independence, Islamic ethics and the Islamic Republic”.

He also called on the great Iranian nation, on behalf of the heads of the three branches, to ardently attend the 22nd of Bahman procession, calling it an indication of people’s commitment to the path of the Revolution, Imam, and their Guardianship.

“Reaching development is not only possible through coordination and communion among the three branches and all branches should join hands in using the post-JCPOA atmosphere to the benefit of the people, the country and job creation for the youths” he said, referring to discussions on the topic in the session.

He also referred to the discussions on the two upcoming elections and said: “What the Supreme Leader and the Iranian nations want today, is a great election in the country, therefore, how a competitive election is held, will cause a move forward in political and social fields”.
