Appreciating all the engineers, workers and executors of the Persian Gulf water transfer project to the Central Plateau of Iran, the President emphasised that with this water transfer line to the Central Plateau of Iran, not only water will reach the Central Plateau, but more importantly, it is the hope that comes to these areas and we need to name this water transmission line "Hope Transmission Line".
Speaking on Thursday at the opening ceremony of the first phase of the Persian Gulf water transfer project to the Central Plateau of Iran and three related projects, Dr Hassan Rouhani said that this water transfer line to the Central Plateau will give hope to all farmers and people in the region about a source of sustainable water, and I congratulate the great nation of Iran on the inauguration of this great project.
The President called this project one of the most huge projects, and stated, "Of course, very important and historical projects will be put into operation by the end of the year and early next year, the restoration of Lake Urmia and the huge plan to transfer oil from Goreh to Jask is one of them".
Dr Rouhani stated, "Despite the sanctions and pressure of a terrorist government in the United States, these huge development plans are being put into operation, which show that these pressures have not been able to prevent the implementation of a huge development plan in the country".
Dr Rouhani stated, "All these projects are being implemented within the framework of environmental principles".
The President said that in the future plan, 50% of the water consumption of the people of Bandar Abbas will be provided through seawater desalination, adding, "This is a very big and huge work for the life of the people and the development and industry of the country and it is very important".
Referring to the three-year US economic war against the Iranian nation, the President said, "In these three years of pressure imposed on this government and people, at least in the history of Iran, I do not know of anything like it. There has always been pressure and sanctions, but the economic war during the spread of coronavirus and in a situation where our people needed medicine and health facilities was unprecedented".
Dr Rouhani added, "During this period, there was a person in the White House who brutally intensified sanctions and war, even during the coronavirus era. They did not adhere to any human principles, human rights and international laws and regulations, but at the same time I am sure that the Iranian nation will ultimately win".
The President emphasised, "The result of the US elections and who will be the president is not important, because without a doubt, the next government will surrender to the Iranian people and they have no choice but to surrender to the law, regulations and pressure of public opinions and to the patience and resistance of this great nation".
Dr Rouhani said, "The opening of projects is a clear reason that our nation does not serener to these pressures and, God willing, we can succeed against our enemies and force them to come back one day and implement the law, regulations and treaty".
The operation of the first phase of the Persian Gulf water transfer project to the central plateau of the country and three related projects began by the President through video conferencing.
On Thursday in the 31st week of "Prudence and Hope for Surge in Production" campaign through video conference, Dr Hassan Rouhani ordered the start of operation of the first phase of the Persian Gulf water transfer project to the central plateau of Iran, part of the sweetening site of the first phase of the project, power and energy supply and pumping and balance tanks and shock absorbers were inaugurated the first phase of the Persian Gulf water transfer project to the Central Plateau of Iran and the 45,000 cubic meter reservoir and water exploitation system of Sirjan Golgohar Industries.
16.3 trillion tomans of credit has been spent for these projects and their employment capacity is 16,000 people for the construction period and 1,200 people for the operation period.
The large desalination project and water transmission line has been designed and implemented by the country's distinguished engineers, using the experiences of experienced companies in the Persian Gulf, as well as the use of the best technical and technological options in the world.
