President in a meeting with the new Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to Tehran:

Iran welcomes deepening ties with Sierra Leone

“Both countries have ample potentials for developing ties and awareness of the private sectors of Tehran and Freetown of these potentials can be effective in promoting these ties,” said President Rouhani in a meeting with the new Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to Tehran.

In the meeting that was held on Monday, Dr Rouhani also said: “The Islamic Republic of Iran welcomes deepening economic and cultural ties with Sierra Leone”.

At the same meeting, the new Sierra Leone’s Ambassador to Tehran, Almamy Camara presented his credentials to President Rouhani and said: “Sierra Leone welcomes Iranian companies’ cooperation in various sectors, especially mining and industry and we are ready to cement ties with Tehran in all fields”.

“Sierra Leone considers itself as a partner of Iran in regional and international issues and we are determined to cooperate more with Iran in these fields, especially combatting terrorism,” he added.
