Dr.Rouhani and Russian presidents in a phone conversation:

Agreements between the two countries becomes the beginning of the extensive relationships

Russian President Vladimir Putin and President Hassan Rouhani in a phone conversation on Monday discussed the latest developments in the talks between Tehran and the world powers as well as possible ways to end the bloodshed in Syria.

The two presidents spoke by telephone at the Russian leader's request; the two presidents were discussed bilateral relations, regional developments and nuclear talks.
Dr.Rouhani highlighting the two previous meetings in Bishkek and positive developments after that in two countries relations, has expressed his hopes that our agreements are the beginning of the expansion of relations between the two neighboring countries and the previous steps are reinforced.
"At the recent Geneva talks good progress was made, but everyone must realize excessive demands could complicate the process towards a win-win agreement," said Dr.Rouhani.
“From our point of view, there should not be a situation in which the will of parties to reach mutually acceptable agreement is affected," Dr.Rouhani added.
President on nuclear negotiations, thanks Russia's positions to the recent meeting in Geneva, He stressed that as Iran has already announced the country's nuclear activities are peaceful nuclear activities under the supervision of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).
During this conversation the Iranian and Russian presidents also discussed the conflict in Syria and expressed support for efforts to convene an international peace conference aimed at seeking an end to the civil war in the Middle-East nation.
President Rouhani, on the crisis in Syria, said that Iran and Russia share a lot of common views on Syrian crisis and now countries have understood that war is not the solution to this crisis and the terrorist groups are the greatest threat to the region.
The Russian President focused on the positive developments in the relations between the two countries, expressed his will for the development of relations and cooperation between States in the near future.
The Russian president underlined during the phone talk that Moscow believes there is a "real chance" to resolve the West standoff over Tehran's nuclear program.
