Ayatollah Raisi further stressed the need to reopen schools and said, "Currently, due to the corona conditions, schools are starting to operate virtually and in some areas as a combination of virtual and face-to-face, so that as conditions improve, in-person education in the country's schools begin”.
The President stated, "The Ministry of Education and school principals must have a precise and specific plan based on the conditions of the cities and provinces of the country in terms of illness and the number of students in the classes for the presence or absence of classes and implement it carefully”.
Ayatollah Raisi stated that the arrangements for the reopening of schools have been taken with regard to the vaccination of teachers and students, adding, "There is no need to worry, the vaccination has been done and the new school year can begin with the observance of health protocols in schools and educational centres".
The President stressed that there is no doubt that educational activities in schools and universities should begin in due time, saying, "Education, whether virtual, in-person or combined, should be done in a managed way. If it is not possible to start education in person somewhere from September 23rd, this should not continue until the end of the school year”.
Ayatollah Raisi continued, "Virtual education should be for 15 days to a month and after a month it should become face-to-face education or a combination of face-to-face and virtual education, and we must have face-to-face education along with virtual education”.
The President also stressed the need to select a spokesperson for the Ministry of Education to comment and provide accurate and unified information.
Ayatollah Raisi also referred to the problems caused by the drought in the country and emphasised on providing the necessary funds by the Plan and Budget Organisation to compensate for drought damages to farmers and gardeners.
Stressing the importance of meritocracy in appointments, he said, "It is very important for the people to see the criteria set by the government are taken into account in the appointments”.
The president stressed, "The government officials must abide by the law prohibiting the employment of retirees in government offices”.
Ayatollah Raisi continued, "The next point is that we should lower the age level of managers. The more young people are used and given the field, the better it is”.
Referring to the arrival of the days of commemoration of the Holy Defence, the President said, "The Holy Defence Week is a reminder of courage, bravery, endurance, trust and faith and all the great manifestations”.
Ayatollah Raisi emphasised, "The more time passes since the beginning of the government's activity, the more I believe in the fact that the country's problems can be solved internally, and the more I believe in the country's capabilities and resources”.
