President leaves Tehran for Istanbul

President of the Islamic Republic of Iran left Tehran, heading for Istanbul to take part in the extraordinary OIC summit.

Dr Hassan Rouhani headed for Istanbul on Friday at the invitation of the President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to participate in the extraordinary summit of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) to discuss developments in Palestine and the criminal acts of the Zionist Regime in killing the oppressed people of Palestine.

The President was seen off at the airport by First Vice-President Es’haq Jahangiri, Special Advisor to the Supreme Leader Dr Velayati and a number of ministers and vice-presidents.
