In a cabinet session chaired by President Rouhani;

Investment license issued for paper production from calcium carbonate in Kharameh/ Raw timber importers required to obtain permission from legal authorities/ Plans for encouraging top exporters

The Council of Ministers convened on Wednesday in a session chaired by President Hassan Rouhani and agreed with investment in paper production out of calcium carbonate by the Iranian Industrial Development and Renovation Organisation in the city of Kharameh, Fars province.

The project, with a production capacity of 20,000 tonnes of calcium carbonate per year, will have positive environmental impacts and prevent excessive logging.

It is also possible to supply all the raw material needed for this project from different parts of the country.

The cabinet also approved the regulations on how to determine the price of sale and lease and the conditions for the transfer of surplus buildings and lands of the Education Ministry.

The government also went on to reform the regulations for encouraging and praising top exporters of the country.

Another topic that was discussed and agreed by the Council of Ministers was to approve the Statute of the Emergency Emergencies Organization of the country.

Furthermore, based on what was agreed by the cabinet, the debts of the Specialised Company of Construction and Development of Transportation Infrastructure of Iran was decided to be added to the government's debts.

The government also went on to amend the statute of the Iranian Civil and Urban Improvement Company.

The cabinet also required importers of raw timber to obtain permission from the related legal authorities.
