Ahmadinejad If certain states not change behavior Iranian nation will do so

     

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad here on Tuesday warned certain countries that if they do not change their behaviors, the Iranian nation will never hesitate to do so.

According to Presidential Office, President Ahmadinejad made the remark in a meeting with the new Swedish ambassador to Tehran Nagnus Vernstedt.

Certain countries still continue to exert pressure on Iran despite recent report by IAEA, he underlined.

On recent report issued by IAEA on peaceful nature of Iran's nuclear program, he said the noble Iranian nation has tolerated the illegal pressures exerted by certain countries for many years.

The US and its allies should admit Iran's peaceful nuclear rights, he said, adding that there is no alternative to this end.

Iran is independent and never needs these powers or countries, he underlined.

Iran has very broad based ties with most countries of the world, Ahmadinejad pointed out.

Iran hopes for expansion of all out ties with Sweden and there is no limitation on such ties, he said.

The Swedish ambassador, for his part, described the Islamic Republic of Iran as a significant power in the region, adding that Sweden is among those European countries which enjoy good economic ties with Tehran.

Sweden is willing to broaden cultural ties with Tehran, said the new ambassador.

He also praised Iran's efforts in its anti-drug campaign.
