President:
No place for aggression, war, violating other nations' rights in Iranian thought

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad underlined in Iranian thought there is no place for aggression, war and violation of other nations' rights.

According to the Presidential Office website on Wednesday, Ahmadinejad said, "All countries must destroy atomic bombs to remove concerns and Iran does not believe in atomic weapons and thinks that its period is over and any government which invests on such weapons has betrayed its own nation."
President Ahmadinejad in a meeting with members of a number of American Thought Societies, by referring to the harsh image created by some western media of Islamic Republic of Iran in the world said, "We do not seek our national interests outside our borders."
He said, "We have to reach an understanding first on principles, concepts and Islamic values and then discuss other issues because when we have different meanings for some words, dialogue cannot solve problems."
Ahmadinejad referred to the violation of France, US, Canada and Germany of the nuclear agreements with Iran and said they breach agreements unilaterally, and this means that written agreements are not an appropriate alternative for solving basic problems.

Iran's president called efforts to make Iran and the US stances closer to each other " useful" and continued war is the worst option for solving problems and stressed " warmongers are expansionists while we can have a better world if we can find common concepts." We like to create relation and develop it, but its conditions must be redefined, Ahmadinejad said.

Concerning ties between the two countries, Ahmadinejad referred to his long letter to President Bush as an example of creating a good opportunity for dialogue and understanding.

Iran's generous proposal for establishment of a joint nuclear consortium was not welcomed by the west, Iran's president continued, "A country which has thousands of nuclear warheads is making obstacles on Iran's peaceful nuclear technology with the pretext that Iran may be deviated in future."
Establishment of direct flight between Tehran-New York was another Iran's proposal to create relations with the USA, he added.

He called next US president to know that without establishing relations with Iran, no problems could be solved and added Iran wishes to talk but it would not ignore its rights.

President Ahmadinejad also said the Zionist are different from the Jews and reminded, "Jews in Iran enjoy similar rights with other religious groups and even sometimes more than others, but the Zionists are a political party with a religious mask."
