
Ahmadinejad stresses importance of productivity
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said on Thursday that making appropriate use of natural resources would pave the way for economic prosperity and development.

In a message to a seminar held on the occasion of the Productivity Day, the Iranian president underlined the need for refraining from wasting opportunities and resources.
The president's message was read by Amir-Mansour Borqe'i, Vice-President for planning and strategic supervision.
In the message, Ahmadinejad called for scientific management over all assets, including earth, water, energy, construction materials, forests, natural resources, and foodstuff.
He also called for safeguarding the labor force as well as physical and moral health of all people.
In his message, the president stressed the importance of exchange of experiences in the area of productivity.
He called on all scientists, scholars, ulema, industrialists, businessmen, and farmers to help manage a plan to make appropriate use of all the existing natural resources in the country in order to prepare the ground for materialization of the holy objective of productivity.
