He made the remarks in an address to the officials and staff of Golestan Palace museum.
Praising grandeur of Iran's culture and art, he said no one has the right to damage the country's cultural heritage.
The president further called for introducing the country's cultural heritage to all people inside and outside Iran, stressing that such a move would pave the way for safeguarding the country's cultural heritage.
He condemned efforts to smuggle Iran's valuable cultural heritage artifacts.
Accompanied by the head of Iran's Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization Esfandiar Rahim-Mashaei, the president inspected various parts of the museum on the third day of Cultural Heritage Week in Iran.
