In a cabinet session chaired by President Rouhani;

Second phase of credits for restoring Lake Urmia allocated/Import-export tariff chart to decrease classes/$1.3m allocated for compensating flood damages in Sistan &amp;amp;amp; Baluchistan

The Council of Ministers convened on Wednesday at a session chaired by President Rouhani and discussed and reviewed issues regarding Lake Urmia, import-export tariffs and the latest floods in Sistan and Baluchistan province in south-eastern Iran.

The cabinet decided to allocate $216m of credits for saving and restoring Lake Urmia in north-western Iran, second to the initial $79m phase of the attempt to revive the lake.

The Council of Ministers also allocated $1.3m for compensating the damages inflicted by the floods in Sistan and Baluchistan province in south-eastern Iran.

Furthermore, the cabinet discussed the classes of import-export tariffs chart and decided to decrease the classes in this regard.
