“In doing so, we should not pay attention to marginal words that people have not asked for,” added the President.
Dr Rouhani also referred to Iran’s recent success in OPEC and the global market and added: “Increasing oil production and export to 1 million BPD in a few months’ time was astonishing”.
He then mentioned his visit to the exhibition on government’s performance in resolving suburbanisation, and said: “Organising suburbs and observing social, health and environmental issues in these regions is very essential and a human responsibility on our shoulders”.
Highlighting the Healthcare Reform Plan, he said that the plan will be remembered in history as one of the government’s greatest services in Iran.
Environmental issues and water shortage is the most important issue around our country, Rouhani said adding: “Organising wastewater is one of the measures that should be taken to preserve underground water resources contributing to people’s health”.
“We should attempt to solve people’s real problems because they should see a good future ahead of them and families should be hopeful of their youths’ employment opportunities,” he added.
Dr Rouhani continued: “The Almighty God objects those who consider good things prohibited. We should not torment people, but rather we should join hands to help solve people’s problems”.
“Although oil producing countries had no choice but to use their foreign exchange reserves, we deposited 20%,” said the President, adding that these achievements are not broadcasted on TV and radio and some media in the country.
