President: Iran owes its current stability, security to the dedication, sacrifice of veterans, their dear family

President Hassan Rouhani in continuation of his regular courtesy visit to family members of the war veterans and martyrs of the Sacred Defence time, met Tuesday evening with the family members of the disabled war veteran with 70 per cent disability Mohammad Reza Souri at their premises in a friendly atmosphere to soothe their grieves.

In the meeting he also saluted all Iranian veteran familie's patience, humility and high morale as exemplary to the post-war generation and said: "Iranian nation is well aware of the great task of the great martyred, disabled and all veterans and their families and is appreciative of them".

President described the country's current stability and security as a gift from the devotion and sacrifice of the dear veterans and said: "Iran owes its current security, peace, stability, freedom and glory to the dedication and sacrifice of the war veterans and their dear family".

Referring to the devotions of Iranian youth during the 8-years Sacred Defence period, Dr Rouhani added that Iranian nation won over the enemies with resistance against their aggressions and created great honours in the light of its youth's dedications.

He also said: "The people who insist on its aspirations, independence, honour and the dignity of the country and resist in this regard, will definitely win".

At the meeting in which, Dr Hussein Fereydoun, President's Special Aid, and Hoj. Shahidi, Chief of the Foundation of Martyrs and Veterans Affairs were present, a plaque of appreciation and some gifts of honour were presented to the veteran by Dr Rouhani.
