President officially welcomes Ghanaian counterpart

President Hassan Rouhani officially welcomed Sunday morning Ghanaian Counterpart John Dramani Mahama at  Sa'adabad cultural-historical complex.

After hearing Iran and Ghana's national anthems, the two presidents walked before the guards and introduced top accompanying executive officials of the two countries to each other.

During the official visit of the Ghana President and his high-ranking accompanying delegation to Tehran, they are due to hold talks and participate in meetings in which the countries' top officials will sign cooperation documents.

John Dramani Mahama is officially in Tehran to further develop and foster the two countries' bilateral, regional and international ties and also to promote the existing level of Tehran-Accra cooperation and relation in the fields politics, economy, trade and culture.

Accompanied by a high-ranking political and economic delegation, he arrived in Tehran late Saturday night and was welcomed by the Minister of Agriculture Dr Hojjati who is the President of the two countries' joint commission.
