Expanding mutual ties more than before, as well as regional and international cooperation in different fields such as politics, economy, trade, and culture are amongst the goals of President Xi Jinping’s visit.

In this trip, the two presidents and their accompanying delegations will negotiate and a number of MoUs and agreements between the two countries will be signed.

The visit is in response to President Rouhani’s official visit to China last year. The trip is happening after 14 years when the former Chinese President Jiang Zemin visited Iran.

Three Deputy Prime Ministers, six ministers, a delegation of traders, businessmen, and media organisers will accompany President of China in this trip.
