President Rouhani upon his arrival from New York visit to take part in the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly:

Saudi government has to take all its legal responsibilities for the Mina stampede catastrophe / Government have been at the service of people and the disaster victims from very moment/ Today all are to take the opportunity to utilize the space after JCPOA and its outcomes / I am ready to negotiate with anybody at any venue on Iraq, Syria and Yemen under the condition of the countries' full security

President described the Mina Tragic stampede as an abnormal tragedy and beyond natural accident and said: "The deep sorrow and grievance resulted the tragedy cannot be compensated merely through financial ways.

Talking to reporters on Tuesday after his arrival at Mehrabad Air port from New York, Rouhani said: Government have been at the service of people and the disaster victims from very moment and from now on it will do its utmost for a rapid identification and repatriation of the deceased and victims of the tragedy and to take them to their dear families.
"Regretfully, Muslim and Iranian people this year became deprived from the normal joyful religious and spiritual days between two Eid al-Adha and Ghadir festivals just because of the mismanagement, negligence and deficiency or inefficiency of existing Saudi government which turned joys to bitterness," he added.
Describing this year's Hajj victims situation as sad and deplorable, Rouhani said: "I had been informed with Mina catastrophe in my way to New York, upon my arrival to the airplane, I fully talked with my 1st Vice president and ordered for the necessary measures to be done in this regard, therefore, Honestly speaking, all the good works carried out by the authorities and Foreign Ministry have been very active, as well.
"As we had, there in New York more access to facilities to send the message and voice of Muslims and the innocent pilgrims to the world and give necessary notices to world community, Dr. Zarif, the Minister of Foreign Affairs had some profitable and worthwhile meetings with some foreign officials there, I had also mentioned the case in my two lectures in the General Assembly meeting at the UN Summit for the adoption of the Post-2015 Development Agenda and said that in our view the stampede was not a normal tragedy because the deep sorrow and grievance resulted from the tragedy cannot be compensated through financial ways, thus Saudi government has to take all its legal responsibilities for pilgrims and do its best to fully clarify all aspects of the catastrophe.
He also describe the four animated films managed by Saudi media to mislead world public opinion from the reality occurred there in Mina as a big offense against Islamic nations and said: In all the 16 meetings I had with the world leaders in New York, they all expressed regret and surprise for the tragedy and condoled to Iranian state and nation, while insisting on the investigation of the case to clarify all aspects of the calamity.
Dr. Rouhani once again expressed his condolences to the victims and the families of the sad incident and showed his sympathy to them and asked al-Mighty Allah for a rapid recovery of the injured pilgrims and said: "My Government have been assisting people and those struck in the tragedy from scratch and will not stop helping them and will do its utmost in this regard.
Referring to his move to leave his trip to UN unfinished in order to participate in the funeral of the Mina stampede victims, he said: I was scheduled to stay In New York do meet five other high delegations and to participate three more meetings, but postponed them just to be in homeland to welcome the bodies of the pilgrims.
President also referred to his meetings and lectures in different occasions in New York especially for the adoption of the Post-2015 Development Agenda at UN summit and added that: I have explained about all necessary measures done and will be done by Iran and for environment and described agenda as totally in favor of third world countries.
Noting that he had many references to JCPOA in his lecture at UN General Assembly, and in other meetings with senior officials, Dr. Rouhani said: Today, nobody is talking about the different steps of the agreement, because they are sure of it and its finality, therefore they all are to take the opportunity to utilize the space after JCPOA and its outcomes.
He referred to American economic activist's new demands for a push from Iran over US administration to put an end to the sanctions in order to make a rapid and best use of the era after sanctions.
President described the situation today as more different from the past and said: "Some world leaders in the past were considering Iran as the cause for the regional issues, but today they are making confession for the opposite their past conceptions and are asking Iran's help to establish peace and security in the region.
Dr. Rouhani expressed regret over the mass killings and the bloodshed in Syria, Iraq and Yemen, called for a rapid action to end to these misfortunes and said: I am ready to negotiate with anybody at any venue on Iraq, Syria and Yemen, provided that these calamities be finished soon and security be fully established there in those countries.
