President in a meeting with Turkish Prime Minister:

Tehran-Ankara relations should be expanded in all fields to the interests of both nations/ Davoutoglou: Ankara aims to reach to a 30 Billion dollar trade with Tehran

President Rouhani in a meeting on Sunday On the sideline of the 70th United Nations General Assembly in New York with Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that Iran will not forget its friends in sanction era , therefore, it will definitely considers these countries which did not left the Iranian nation alone then.

He said: "Iran and Turkey shares many common views on world issues, therefore their mutual relations must be further expanded".

Referring to the terrorist crimes against Iraqi and Syrian Muslem people, President added that Iran and Turkey must expand their serious mutual cooperation and consultations in order to remove the existing calamities and sorrows from among the regional nations.

Dr. Rouhani reitrated that Tehran and Ankara are also looking to restore peace to the region, to destroy terrorists, to stop disintegration of the neihbouring countries in the region, to restore security to the region and return of all refugees to their homelands.

Davoutoglu also in the meeting referred to the tight competions and election process in Turkey and said: "whatever the outcome of the election, improvment of the two countries wil be the new government’s first priority, as well".

Expressing his satisfaction over the nuclear Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) reached between Iran and P5+1 group of world powers, Turkish PM expressed hope for the agreement to create new opportunities for the development of the two countries‘ economic and trade relations up to 30 bilion dolars.

„As far as the two country are united to cobmat the regional terrorists, therefore the good relation can be a good sample for the neihbouring and regional countries, Davoutoglu said.
