President in a meeting with Greek New Ambassador:

No obstacle for the development of bilateral ties between Iran and Greece

In the meeting, new Greek ambassador presents credentials to the president Rouhani on Monday.
The President and the Ambassador further explored opportunities ‎‎for increasing cooperation between the Iran and Greece on various issues.
President Hassan Rouhani described Greece as a gateway to Europe and said that Greece has many capacities in various fields and the economies of Iran and Greece can complement each other.
President said that the two nations enjoy noteworthy potentials and capacities for the further development of their bilateral relations in all fields.
He said that at the present time, the policy of manipulation of sanction to pressurize countries has no use.
Greek ambassador for his part stressed increase of all out ties with Iran.
He referred to the cultural-historical ties between the two countries and said that Iran is an independent influential state in region.
Greece seeks strategic ties with Iran and is against the policy of manipulation of sanction to isolate countries, Ifantis added.
