President made the remarks, speaking to reporters in a press conference in Rasht, northern Iran.
President described the path towards a final nuclear deal between Tehran and world powers as a difficult one, but at the same time noted that such a deal could lay the ground for more interactions between Iran and the whole world.
"There is a difficult path ahead of us towards the final deal," President stressed.
He added, however, that if the Group 5+1 continue to show the will they have been showing so far, it is possible to clinch a final deal in the remaining time.
President Rouhani further said the final deal would pave the way for more interactions between Iran and the entire world, including the Group 5+1.
He went on to say that Iran's "will and decision is to continue the negotiations until a final deal is reached."
President said Iran's main goal in the deal is to prove to the world that all accusations leveled against the country had been unfounded and this will be the greatest achievement at international level.
President stressed that the world has come to acknowledge the Iranian nation’s right to use peaceful nuclear technology.
The points the two sides have been agreed upon are mentioned in the joint plan of action but there will be a very tough path to reach the final deal within the remaining time, said President Rouhani.
There are many technical, legal, political and economic issues which should be resolved between the two sides, he said.
'If the two sides fail to clinch the final deal, it will be detrimental to both sides and they know that they cannot maintain their sanctions as before,' he said.
'We hope all sides will show firm determination to finalize the issue,' said President Rouhani.
