Iranian top diplomats as wartime stand against world powers

President Hassan Rouhani on Wednesday hailed the performance of Iranian negotiators in nuclear talks with the six world powers – known as the P5+1.

President Rouhani made the remarks addressing a local gathering of scholars, veterans and elects in the northern province of Gilan.
The president said that in the diplomatic conflict that Iranian top diplomats have stood against the world, a complicated job was handled.
'A big job was done, but as it is not over yet, we cannot describe all parts of negotiations,' Dr. Rouhani said.
'It is not a minor job to talk in front of six world powers,' Dr. Rouhani added.
He described the 1979 Islamic Revolution, the Sacred Defense (resistance against the 1980-88 Iraqi imposed war) and the ongoing nuclear negotiations with the six major powers as three important events in the Iranian history since 1962.
'Whatever we had, now have and will have, are gained in light of science, knowledge and sacrifice (of the Iranian nation),' concluded the president.
