Speaking at the last session of the cabinet in the current Iranian year on Wednesday, President Rouhani said the country exported around $50 billion worth of non-oil goods in the outgoing year, a landmark economic achievement for the government.

Referring to the government's plans for enhancement of ties with neighbors in coming years, Dr.Rouhani said that 'our trade and economic relations with neighboring countries are expected to double in some cases.'
He said the volume of trade exchanges in certain fields will double in value.
Touching upon foreign policy achievements of his administration, Dr.Rouhani said that Iran has taken major steps in nuclear talks with the P5+1 and has established better relations with its neighbors and other world governments.
He hailed efforts made by Ministries of Health and Cooperatives, Labor and Social Welfare to provide insurance and better health services for 8 million Iranians over the past year.
