President Rouhani said that the annual session was a proper venue to present Tehran's viewpoints on major regional and international developments.
"We have managed to take most benefits from both the main annual session and its sidelines events," said the President.
All participating delegates admitted that Tehran played a key role in the combat against terrorism and in establishing stability in the region and that the present condition could have been worse without Iran's help.

The president also made remarks about nuclear talks between Iran and the Sextet of world powers describing the talks as progressive.
President Rouhani said that we had seen many different issues related to Iran's nuclear issue, which was the sign of more serious will to resolve this issue. It seemed that they were all determined to find a solution for Iran's nuclear program.
