President Hassan Rouhani pointed to the significant possibilities for cooperation between Iran and Ireland calls for the opening of the two countries’ gates of investors, entrepreneurs, public and private sectors.

Dr.Hassan Rouhani on Wednesday in a meeting with Irish Parliament speaker Sean D. Barrett referred to the presence of European trade mission in Iran to negotiate and signing economic contracts said that there are massive grounds available for foreign investments and Irish companies can benefit from the opportunity.
Dr.Rouhani called on the two sides' officials to pave the way for active presence of private and state-run investors and entrepreneurs in both countries.
President Rouhani said that IT, oil and gas, rail transportation, environment, ferrous industries, mines, pharmaceuticals and agriculture are suitable areas of cooperation between the two states.
He added that undoubtedlyThe current visit of the Irish parliament speaker is regarded as a turning point in broadening relations and cooperation between the two countries.
Good relations between the two sides' parliaments will prepare the grounds for expansion of relations between the two countries, Dr.Rouhani said, calling for expansion of regional and global cooperation between the two sides.
“Sanctions which have recently been imposed on Iran in an illegal way had been detrimental to all,” he pointed out.
He added that Iran seeks positive and constructive interaction with all countries in the world.
On the sidelines of the 69th annual session of the UN General Assembly in New York earlier this month, some heads of European countries explicitly confessed that the European Union has suffered losses from sanctions against Tehran, the Iranian president added.
President Rouhani added that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) carried out numerous snap inspections of Iran’s nuclear sites over the past 12 years and verified non-diversion in the country’s nuclear energy program.
“Iran’s activities in the nuclear issue are completely transparent and we seek a win-win agreement in the negotiations which will serve the two sides’ interests,” President stated.
“Ireland is not among the P5+1 countries but as a member of the European Union, it can be effective in the fulfillment of the bloc’s serious determination to settle the Iranian nuclear issue,” Dr.Rouhani said.
The Irish parliament speaker, for his part described Iran's policy in dealing with global developments as positive and said the world has now recognized the Iranian president as "Man of Peace".
Ireland fully backs talks between Iran and G5+1 until a final deal is clinched by the two sides, he said.
Grounds for expansion of all-out cooperation between the two countries are well prepared and the two sides are expected to seize the opportunity in this regard, he said.
