Dr.Rouhani back in Tehran from Central Asian tour

President Hassan Rouhani arrived back in Tehran Friday night from his 5-day visit of Kazakhstan and Tajikistan during which he consulted with various countriesˈ presidents.

President Rouhani was received in Tehran by the Supreme Leader's Adviser for International Affairs Ali Akbar Velayati and the First Vice President Es'haq Jahangiri.
The Iranian president had left Tehran on Monday, September 8 atop a high ranking political-economic delegation for regional and bilateral meetings and consultations.
In Astana President Rouhani met and conferred with Kazakh President Noor Sultan Nazabayev, as well as that country's prime minister and parliament speaker.
On Wednesday, September 10 Dr.Rouhani ended his two-day visit of Kazakhstan and left Astana for Tajikistan's capital city, Dushanbe, where in addition to meeting that country's president and prime minister, President Rouhani also attended the Iran-Kazakhstan Joint Economic Conference and gave a lecture at Astana University.
In addition to meeting President Emomali Rehmon and attending the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Conference in Dushanbe, the Iranian president met and conferred with his Chinese, Russian, Uzbek, and Afghan presidents, as well as the Indian premier during his two day visit of Tajikistan.
