Iran, Kazakhstan to enhance bilateral ties

President Hassan Rouhani said on Tuesday Iran and Kazakhstan are committed to promote bilateral relations.

President Rouhani said in a meeting with his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev.
President thanked Kazakh warm welcome of the Iranian delegation.
President Rouhani says the Islamic Republic and Kazakhstan are determined to broaden bilateral ties on various fields, particularly in the economic sphere.
We are ready to expand cooperation in the field of agriculture, mining, transport, money and banking, technical services, public investment, energy, particularly gas and oil prices, he reiterated.
He called Iran-Kazakhstan relations as historical and cultural.
President Rouhani pointed to the opportunities for expansion of Iran and Kazakhstan ties.
President said the visit by a high-ranking Iranian economic and diplomatic delegation shows Tehran’s strong resolve to expand relations with Astana.
“The outcome of talks between Iranian and Kazakh delegations shows that the two sides have the necessary determination to enhance bilateral ties in different spheres,” Dr.Rouhani added.
He stressed on the fight against terrorism ,said that the cooperation of the countries of the region, including Iran and Kazakhstan for the fight against violence and extremism are in the interests of the country.
The Kazakh president emphasized the significance of Rouhani’s visit to his country, adding that the trip would have a positive impact on the future of Tehran-Astana relations.
He said his country considers Iran as a trusted economic partner in the region and Caspian Sea, and added that Kazakhstan will make efforts to expand two countries economic relations.
Nazarbayev for his part welcomed expansion of ties with Tehran and called for increase of trade exchange between the two states.
Establishment of Iran-Kazakhstan joint chamber of commerce will help boost the two state's economic cooperation, he added.
