President in a meeting with Vietnam's new ambassador:

There is no obstacle to development of Iran-Vietnam ties

President Hassan Rouhani said on Tuesday that Iran and Vietnam in international issues, particularly in the United Nations is unanimous and should also continue cooperation and collaboration in the future.

President Rouhani in a meeting with new Vietnamese ambassador honoring the Vietnamese people’s historic struggle against the aggressors stated that the Iranian nation will never forget the strength and resilience of the Vietnamese people against the enemy, as Iranians also at the same time to achieve independence, freedom and the establishment of the Islamic Republic had fought tyranny.
President emphasized that Tehran- Hanoi relations could be expanded in all fields, said that there is no obstacle to the development relations between Iran and Vietnam.
Inviting his Vietnamese counterpart Truong Tan Sang to visit Iran in near future, President Rouhani expressed hope that bilateral cooperation would further boost during the tenure of the new ambassador.
Neguyen, for his part, reiterated that Hanoi attaches great importance to expansion of economic ties with Iran.
The new Vietnamese ambassador said he would do his best to reinforce the level of mutual cooperation, the economic relations in particular.
