Islam is the religion of moderation

President Hassan Rouhani hints to Zionist propaganda against Iran and Islam promoting Iranophobia and Islamiphobia calling the campaign baseless; “we are moderate people and Islam is the religion of moderation not leaning towards left or right,” added Rouhani.

In World Mosque Day Conference in Tehran, President Hassan Rouhani pointed to occupation of Al-Quds by Zionist regime and addressed the meeting saying that no extremism has ever existed among Iranians and Islamic rules; “we are always moderate, not leaning to left or right.”
President hailed religious leaderˈs efforts in support of Gaza people against the Zionist regime.
Iran will do its best in support of Palestinian nation till the freedom of occupied lands, he added.
He went on saying that mosques are the best places for educating people to recognize right from wrong and pointed to al-Aqsa Mosque in Al-Quds, the first qibla – mosque and holy place towards which Muslims used to perform prayers; later Mecca became Muslims qibla – and held that Muslims would not let it remain under Zionists’ occupation. "Al-Quds is loved by all Muslims’ and it is our goal to perform prayers there."
“We will help Palestinians and we believe that victory will be for the Muslims,” said Dr.Rouhani.
He further pointed to recent regional developments and said that "some mad, wild groups kill children and women, and destroy mosques or churches in the name of Islam but they are ruled by some mercenaries."
President referred to Iraqi Army victories in the fight against Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (known as Daesh) and hailed volunteers and religious leadersˈ efforts in this regard.
