"Given the particular role of Iran and Sudan in upgrading the Islamic culture and civilization as well as their profound historical, cultural and revolutionary commonalties, we will see enhanced cooperation in regional and international arenas," he said in his message to President al-Bashir.



Ahmadinejad also congratulated Sudanese government and nation on the occasion.



In the meantime, Iran's Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki, felicitated his counterpart Deng Alor on the occasion.
