Iranian, Sri Lankan Presidents call for the promotion of bilateral relations in all spheres

During the meeting held on the sidelines of the fourth summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA) in China’s Shanghai, the two presidents called for the promotion of bilateral relations in all spheres.
President Hassan Rouhani emphasized the development of relations and cooperation between Iran and Sri Lanka.
President of Sri Lanka highlighting the expansion of relations between Iran and Sri Lanka, he hoped that the two sides try to promote economic, trade and culture ties.
President said that Iran calls for the development of trade and economic relations between Tehran-Colombo in different parts.
The President of Sri Lanka, at the meeting, stressed the good cooperation between Iran and Sri Lanka in the United Nations and other international organizations.
Emphasizing the government and nation’s commitment of Sri Lanka aimed at promoting multilateral relations with Iran; he has called the expansion of economic and trade cooperation between the two countries.
