President in a meeting with new ambassador of Cyprus:

No obstacles to deeper Cyprus-Iran ties

President Hassan Rouhani on Tuesday called for expansion of relations with Cyprus, stated: ‘There are no obstacles to further develop relations between the two friendly countries at all levels.’

The President made the remarks in a meeting with New Cyprus’s newly appointed ambassador to Tehran during which he received his credential.
President Rouhani called for the development of economic, cultural, scientific and tourism cooperation between Iran and Cyprus.
The new ambassador of Cyprus said his country was determined to improve bilateral, regional and international ties with Iran.
