He made the remarks in a press conference in Cairo on Thursday.

'Expansion of Iran-Egypt relations is in interest of Tehran and Cairo as well as regional countries. Iran and Egypt can develop their relations in all fields, including tourism, agriculture and science.'

Dr.Ahmadinejad rejected a claim by some western media that in his meeting with Sheikh of Egypt's Al-Azhar Ahmed al-Tayyeb, this religious leader has made concerns about Tehran’s efforts for development of Shia religion in the Muslim world and added that the discussions with Egyptian religious leaders are aimed at boosting unity among Muslim nations.

“Muslim nations should be vigilant towards enemy divisive plots; Iran and Egypt as members of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) should discuss plans for more active role of these organization in the international scene; OIC member states’ cooperation can make a better situation for them in the world; Muslim nations should have solidarity in defense of Palestinian nation; nations want peace, justice and prosper and Tehran and Cairo should do their best to help spread of such values.”

Dr.Ahmadinejad noted Iran’s plan for the removal of entrance visa regime for Egyptian tourists and merchants and asserted that this program could also, include Egyptian university and religious scholars.

“Iran is ready to transfer its experience in all fields, including the science, to brother county of Egypt. No outside country can affect historical ties between the two nations. Tehran has $16 billion trade exchange with UAE and $30 billion with Turkey and in the meantime, there is a potential for having $30 billion trade exchange with Cairo.”

The political crisis in Syria and Bahrain have no military resolution and should be resolved based on national dialogue, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said.

President has expressed Iran's complete readiness to bolster cooperation with Egypt in all sectors.

'All nations' right for determining their destiny should be respected everywhere, including Syria and Bahrain; the Syrian crisis should be resolved through national reconciliation; Tehran is trying to bring the two sides of civil war in Syria closer; Tehran, Cairo and Ankara views towards resolution of Syrian crisis are converging.”

President stressed that Iran believes all outside parties should help reconciliation and national dialogue in Syria and this is the Syrian nation which should decide finally who should govern them.

Answering a question about the Riyadh’s role in resolution of Syrian crisis, Dr.Ahmadinejad emphasized that brother country of Saudi Arabia would welcome any step towards making peace and stability there.

Responding to another question about crackdown of peaceful protesters in Bahrain, he said that Iran will not interfere in any other country’s internal affairs, but Tehran believes governments all around the world, including the Bahraini government, should respect nation's demands.

Speaking about Tehran and PGCC ties, President Ahmadinejad called the relations at a good level and added that ties between Iran and PGCC member-states are enhancing.

“All regional countries, including Turkey and Iraq, should protect their friendship against common enemies; enemies have plots for weakening and partitioning of regional countries, including Turkey, Iraq, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sudan and Iran.”

The Islamic Republic of Iran is in favor of negotiations between the Syrian government and opposition groups to create stability in the Middle Eastern country.

Late in November, Iran hosted a two-day meeting titled 'No to Violence, Yes to Democracy' and was attended by 200 Syrian religious and political figures, leaders of tribes and parties as well as representatives and leaders of the opposition groups in a move to pave the way for dialogue between representatives of Syrian opposition and government.

United States of America should avoid use of force and pressure tools if it was serious about direct talks with Iran on the nuclear issue, said President.

President has expressed Iran's complete readiness to bolster cooperation with Egypt in all sectors.

Rejecting direct talks with the US on the nuclear issue, President Ahmadinejad noted that Tehran will not accept talks which are based on pressure and the use of force against Tehran.

“Using a stick for making a memorandum of understanding between two countries is not a logical approach for negotiation; any negotiation should be based on mutual respect and if Americans correct their action after correcting their words, Tehran could consider talking with them.”
