The president made the remarks in a meeting with Bosnia-Herzegovina President Nebojša Radmanović at the sideline of the 12th Summit meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation here on Thursday.

Pointing to the history of the Bosnian nation which has experienced many ups and downs, he noted that Iran has always supported the Bosnian nation in hard times.

He voiced Iran’s interest in expanding ties with the country in all areas including economics, politics and culture.

President pointing to the Syrian crisis highlighted Iran’s efforts to establish national reconciliation in Syria and put an end to violence there.

The Bosnian President lauded Iran’s progress in various scientific, economic and cultural fields and called for expansion of relations with Tehran.

He also said Iran, Turkey and Egypt, as three influential countries in the region, could cooperate to help end violence in Syria.
