President Ahmadinejad was accompanied by First Vice-President Mohammad Reza Rahimi, Vice-President for Parliamentary Affairs Lotfollah Forouzandeh, Minister of Science, Research and Technology Kamran Daneshjoo, Agriculture Minister Sadeq Khalilian, Vice President for Parliamentary Affairs Mohammad-Reza Mir-Tajeddini and Sheikholeslami.

Upon his arrival, President was warmly welcomed by lawmakers.

During the Majlis open session, a number of MPs will talk in support and against Sheikholeslami's performance for two hours and then the minister will defend himself.
