Dr.Mahmoud Ahmadinejad In a telephone conversation thanked Morsi for his efforts aimed at bringing back tranquility and sustainable security to Gaza, pointed out ,'Our religious and humanitarian duties oblige us to try to prevent the further massacre of defenseless Palestinians and restoring tranquility and sustainable security in the region and throughout the entire Palestinian territories.'

President said: 'It is necessary that all-out efforts should be made for putting an end to killing and massacre of women, children and the oppressed people of Gaza and Palestine.'

Morsi, for his part, expressed concern over the situation of the people of Gaza and said he had been in contact with the leaders of other countries in order to reach an international consensus against Zionist regime.
