The president was speaking in a meeting with participants of the first meeting of ECO member states ministers of communication and information technology here on Tuesday evening.

Stressing that in internet and communication world all geographical and physical limitations are eliminated, the president said internet is an unlimited world for human communication.

He added that evil forces, who have always been trying to turn opportunities into threats, are trying to promote hostility, 'so we should all unite and try to promote humanity, justice and peace in internet'.

Dr. Ahmadinejad added that ministers of communication and information technology of ECO member states should try to persuade internet users to use nations' cultural resources in favor of peace and justice.

Referring to creation of national communication network in Iran, President Ahmadinejad said that the network can be connected to the other ECO member states and countries of the region.

Minister of Communication and Information Technology Reza Taqipour presented a report on results of the first meeting of ministers of communication and information technology of ECO member states.

Meanwhile, a number of participants also appreciated Iran for holding the meeting and, by referring to the important role of communication in today's world people life, underlined necessity of wide cooperation among Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) member states.
