President Ahmadinejad made the remark in a Saturday meeting with General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong.

He added that the current world system opposes development and progress of independent nations.

He described Iran-Vietnam ties as positive and growing, saying that the two countries are keen to expand cooperation in economic, trade, agricultural, tourism and scientific fields.

Underlining the fact that the world is rapidly moving toward a new order, president stated that development of friendly relations between Tehran and Hanoi can contribute to the establishment of a just world order in the future.

He noted that the future world order needed to be based on friendship, justice and respect and should give equal chance to all nations to participate in the global management.

The Vietnamese official, for his part, said that the two countries were eager to expand all-out cooperation.

Trong said Vietnam's policies are based on respect for other nations’ rights, friendship, and justice, and Hanoi attaches great significance to relations with Tehran.
