During his two-day stay, the Iranian President met with the country's leader of Communist Party, president, prime minister and speaker and discussed ways of expanding mutual and international cooperation with them.

President Ahmadinejad also paid tribute to the late revolutionary leader of Vietnam Ho Chi Minh as well as Vietnamese war veterans and heroes.
