The president made the remarks here Wednesday morning while talking to reporters before leaving Tehran for Indonesia, to take part in the fifth annual Bali Democracy Forum (BDF) slated for November 8-9.

He said all distinguished world figures and politicians are now focusing on the issue of seeking an alternative for the present world order while the Iranian nation has been advocating the notion of a new world order for a long time.

He also noted that the annual Bali Democracy Forum is aimed at promoting convergence, and consultation to build a better future.

Dr.Ahmadinejad further pointed out that the Bali Forum was initially established to enhance the idea that the present democracy in the world is no longer able to meet the demands of the contemporary man and stands in contrast with many cultures.

He said nations in any continent and region should be entitled to choose and form their government and behavior according to their own cultural characteristics.

Stressing that the Bali Forum will also outline the views of the Iranian nation, he said he will have meetings with the ranking officials of other participating countries in the event to discuss regional and international topics.
