President Ahmadinejad said that arrogant powers escalate tension in the international community to continue their dominance.

He made the remarks in a meeting with Sri Lankan President Percy Mahinda Rajapaksa on the sidelines of the first Asia Cooperation Dialogue Summit meeting in Kuwait City.

President Ahmadinejad said that establishment of peace and stability over the world is a blessing and matter of pleasure for all human beings but if the arrogant powers use force against others, there will remain no peace and stability in the world.

Rajapaksa underlined his country's decision and willingness to expand ties with Iran and called for removal of all barriers and obstacles in this regard.
