
Dr.Ahmadinejad in a meeting with Thai PM:
Asian Countries to Pay Heed to Enhanced Ties
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad called on Asian states to pay special attention to enhanced cooperation at both bilateral and regional levels.
President Ahmadinejad made the remark in a meeting with Thailand's Prime Minter Yingluck Shinawatra in Kuwait on Wednesday.
"The Asian countries should broaden their cooperation at bilateral and regional levels in different fields," said Dr.Ahmadinejad
Elsewhere, president described the relations between the two countries as friendly.
"The relations between Iran and Thailand can be expanded in its best form in different cultural and commercial fields," the president said.
Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, for her part, said that her country attaches special value to its relations with Iran.
"Thailand is ready to broaden its cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran in areas of mutual interest for both countries, including economy, culture, tourism, trade and foodstuff," she said, pointing to the historical relations between two countries.
