Disabled champions and medalists as well as technical members of the Iranian teams that had participated in the event were awarded during the ceremony.

Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs Mohammad Abbasi was also present in the ceremony.

The 2012 Paralympic Games were held in London from August 29 to September 9.

Iran’s participating team in London 2012 Paralympics Games succeeded to win 10 gold, seven silver and seven bronze medals, ranking 11th in the event.
